Frequently asked questions

How much does a school social media strategy session cost?

A 90-minute Strategy Session costs £360. You secure your date with a £150 deposit when you book. It includes safeguarding and consent considerations for your setting, a recording of the session and a strategy handout.

Is the session online?

Yes. The Strategy Session runs online. If you'd like me on site, a VIP Day puts your plan into practice with your team in person.

Do I need to prepare anything?

You'll be asked to share a small amount of background about your setting beforehand. No detailed preparation is needed.

What happens after the session?

You'll receive the recording and a strategy handout to document and put your plan in place. If you'd like more help afterwards, you can book a Power Hour or ask about a VIP Day.

What is the HV5 framework?

HV5 is the method behind every session. It starts with your goals, then looks at Voice, Visibility, Vulnerability, Volume and Value, fixing safeguarding and security first.

How often should a school post online?

Consistency matters more than frequency. Most schools do well with one to three purposeful posts a week, at a pace staff can keep up.

Can schools post pupil photos?

Yes, with valid parental consent recorded and images used in line with your image use policy. Avoid full names, personal data and sensitive context.

Who should manage school social media accounts?

Ideally a small number of trained staff with clear guidance and boundaries. Several untrained users increase safeguarding risk and the chance of complaints.
