We are registered with the Information Commissioner's Office (ICO) as a data controller. This policy explains how we collect, use, and protect your personal data in accordance with the UK General Data Protection Regulation (UK GDPR) and the Data Protection Act 2018.

02The Personal Data We Collect

We collect personal data in the following ways:

Contact forms

When you use a contact form on our website, we collect your name, email address, and any information you include in your message.

Lead magnets and quizzes

We offer interactive tools and resources — such as our social media quiz — that require you to submit your name and email address in order to receive your results or a follow-up resource.

Newsletter and email sign-up

If you subscribe to our email list, we collect your name and email address to send you relevant updates, tips, and resources.

Cookies and analytics

Our website uses cookies and tracking technologies to understand how visitors use the site and to improve our content and services. This includes data collected via Google Analytics 4 and the Meta Pixel. See Section 6 for full details.

03Our Lawful Basis for Processing

Under UK GDPR, we must have a lawful basis for processing your personal data. We rely on the following:

  • Legitimate interests — to respond to enquiries, understand how our website is used, and improve our services.
  • Consent — where you have actively opted in to receive marketing communications or accepted non-essential cookies.
  • Contract — where processing is necessary to fulfil a service we are providing to you.

Where we rely on consent, you have the right to withdraw it at any time. This will not affect the lawfulness of any processing carried out before you withdrew consent.

04How We Use Your Personal Data

We use the personal data we collect to:

  • Respond to enquiries submitted through our contact forms
  • Deliver lead magnets, quiz results, and requested resources
  • Send email newsletters and updates where you have subscribed
  • Analyse website traffic and user behaviour to improve our content and services
  • Retarget visitors via Meta advertising platforms (where cookie consent has been given)

We do not use your data for automated decision-making or profiling that produces legal or significant effects.

05Third-Party Data Processors

We use trusted third-party services to operate our website and communications. Each acts as a data processor on our behalf and is required to handle your data securely and only as instructed.

We do not sell your personal data to any third party.

HC

Hubsy / LeadConnector (HighLevel)

We use Hubsy, powered by the LeadConnector (HighLevel) platform, as our CRM and email marketing system. When you submit a form or sign up to our email list, your contact details are stored and managed within this platform. LeadConnector's privacy policy is available on their website.

GA4

Google Analytics 4

We use Google Analytics 4 to understand how visitors use our website. GA4 collects anonymised usage data including pages visited, time on site, and device type. This data is processed by Google LLC and may be transferred to servers in the United States. Google's privacy policy →

Meta

Meta Pixel

We use the Meta Pixel to measure the effectiveness of our advertising on Facebook and Instagram, and to enable retargeting of website visitors. The Meta Pixel collects data about your activity on our website and shares it with Meta Platforms, Inc. This only applies where you have accepted advertising or analytics cookies. 06Cookies

When you first visit our website, you will be presented with a cookie banner giving you the option to accept or decline non-essential cookies. You can update your preferences at any time by clearing your browser cookies and revisiting the site.

07How Long We Keep Your Data

We retain personal data only for as long as is necessary for the purpose for which it was collected, or as required by law.

  • Contact enquiries — retained for up to 2 years from the date of last contact.
  • Email subscribers — retained for as long as you remain subscribed. You can unsubscribe at any time using the link in any of our emails.
  • Analytics data — retained in line with our Google Analytics settings (currently set to 14 months).
  • CRM records — retained for up to 3 years from the date of last engagement, unless there is an ongoing contractual relationship.

When data is no longer required, it is securely deleted or anonymised.
