Why review your pupil images and consent now?

Keeping Children Safe in Education 2026 came into force on 1 September 2026. It names AI-generated and altered images as a safeguarding concern. In May 2026, the National Crime Agency, the Internet Watch Foundation and the UK Safer Internet Centre published guidance asking schools to review the pupil images they have online and how they collect consent.

Most consent forms and social media policies were written before AI image tools existed. Schools have been doing their best with the guidance they had. Now is a good time to check that your documents and your day-to-day practice match the new guidance.

Your questions, answered

What services do you offer schools?

I offer filming and photography, a Social Media Policy and Consent Audit, consultancy through Strategy Sessions and Power Hours, and staff training and speaking. I work with schools, nurseries, sports clubs, youth clubs and organisations that work with children.

How do you keep children safe when filming?

I check consent with you before filming and work from your no-media list. Children without consent are kept out of shot, or filmed from behind or at a distance. I plan shots in advance and store footage securely.

What does the Social Media Policy and Consent Audit include?

The audit checks your photo, video and social media policies, plus your media consent forms and process. I review them against KCSIE 2026, ICO guidance and the risks from AI image tools. You get a written report with clear actions and a 30-minute call to go through it. It's done remotely and costs £495.

Can we pay by invoice or purchase order?

Yes. Payment by invoice or purchase order is fine.

Where are you based?

I'm based in Lancashire. I film across Lancashire and Manchester. Audits, consultancy and training can be delivered online anywhere in the UK.

How do I book a Strategy Session or Power Hour?

Both can be booked and paid for online. A Strategy Session is 90 minutes for £360. A Power Hour solves one problem for £115. See the Consultancy page to book.

Let's get you started

Tell me what you need, from a film to a policy check, and I'll come back to you with the right next step.
